U.K. native Ella Mai, an R&B singer and songwriter with a casually commanding voice, wasn’t exactly an unknown artist before DJ Mustard signed her to his 10 Summers label. Originally raised in southwest London, Mai moved to New York at the age of 12, then returned to England after she graduated from high school. In 2014, during her second stint in the U.K., she competed on The X Factor as part of a trio, Arize, that didn’t advance beyond the initial audition for the judges. The group broke up shortly thereafter. The following year, Ella Mai uploaded a four-track solo EP of originals to SoundCloud, but it was through her short clips of covers on Instagram that DJ Mustard found her. In January 2016, the producer announced that he had signed her, and the following month, she released Time, a poised EP of sleek, contemporary R&B. Featuring the Ty Dolla $ign collaboration “She Don’t,” the six-track release introduced an artist who could sing of fierce loyalty and ruthless spite in an incisive manner. Mai quickly followed up with two more EPs beginning with Change, followed in early 2017 by Ready, which completed the DJ Mustard-produced trilogy. Ready highlight “Boo’d Up” cracked the Billboard Hot 100 in April 2018.

ZACH WILLIAMS WEARS MANY HATS FROM HUSBAND AND FATHER TO CHURCH STAFF AND WORSHIP LEADER.

Most recently he can add recording artist to the list. Zach is no novice to the music industry. He had spent a majority of his life traveling with various bands. It was while on the road that the Lord grabbed a hold of him and he decided to leave the rock star life behind.

His personal testimony of receiving freedom in the Lord is so beautifully reflected in his debut single “Chain Breaker”. The song came from a place of wanting to reach people who had been struggling and it undoubtedly has. Over the course of it’s release in the summer of 2016, an influx of stories have been shared on his various social media pages by people who have experienced the life changing power of broken chains.

Solomon Tu Brain Omoruyi, artist name Tu Brain, was born in 1986 as the son of the King Omoruyi of Edo State in Nigeria. From young age his musical talent was positively influencing and directing the royal orchestra and choir. Growing up with sweet whistling early-morning-birds and the various sounds of nature, to him the rhythm of the earth and life, deeply raise his natural talent.

Chuck Fenda (born Leshorn Whitehead, in Brooklyn) first came to prominence in Jamaica when recording with King Jammy in the late 90s. At the start of the new century he embraced Rastafarianism and aligned with 5th Element records, who released his debut Better Days in 2004.

The harsh-voiced deejay’s third album, Fulfilment, is a somewhat mellower affair than 2007’s The Living Fire. But with the 2009 world economy still reeling, the Poor People Defenda’s messages of spirituality and social justice are more powerful and pertinent than ever.

The Living Fire contained controversial single Gash Dem an Lite Dem, which despite radio bans (for allegedly inciting vigilantism) was a huge success. His coarse vocals (not dissimilar to Sizzla in pitch) and crude yet effective imagery will be an acquired taste for more refined ears, but this new effort is a solid grower of a record that benefits from a single producer’s touch.

This record’s comparative mellowness is mainly the result of the rhythms, supplied almost entirely by producer Kemar McGregor. McGregor’s take on the one-drop is considerably slicker and less bass-heavy than fans of bygone eras of roots reggae will be used to. Yet it is this contrast between his catchy, lovingly-created backings and Fenda’s brash, pained invective that helps the album succeed.

Chuck opens with mission statement I Am for the Poor on McGregor’s new Ghetto rhythm. The sufferers’ themes continue with Heights (using the ’83 rhythm) and Survivor (on the Rocksteady) before a switch to horticulture for Herbalist Farmer (over the Drop It).

Shane Brown, who worked on The Living Fire, contributes his synth-string-driven Nylon rhythm for It’s Getting Serious. Other guests include the angelic I Wayne on the ballad Thin Line; the deep voiced Bushman on Tough Time; and basic dancehall veteran Sammy Dread with a recut of his hit M16, renamed Bad Boy.

For the final act Fenda shows his tender side. The set’s only love song, Girl You Make Me Cry, is made all the more poignant by his strained delivery. Two prayer pieces, Why Should I and Our Father, conclude a rewarding listen.

Has this been the case in the casting show “Das Super talent? Since a man is invited to a break entertainment on the Super talent 2012 stage by the jury to the performance! Christian just wanted to accompany his girlfriend Martina to the casting for “Das Super talent 2012”. But when he briefly sings on stage during a break, he immediately notices Dieter Bohlen, Michelle Hunziker and Thomas Gottschalk. When the appearance of his girlfriend Martine falls on the jury and then lands as a candidate in “Das Super talent 2012” !.

According to RTL, Christian is the full name of Pierre Christian Bakotessa Kobolo and wanted to support his girlfriend in the casting, because the 22-year-old has a great voice, but has a little too many pounds. Therefore Christian wanted to accompany his girlfriend as a moral support to the casting. During a short casting break, Christian then goes to the Super talent 2012 stage and sings very sensitively the song “I Believe I Can Fly”. The demanding Pop titan hears the voice on the Super talent stage and says, according to RTL.de, among other things: “Much better than anything else I hear here in the breaks …”

In the fourth show of “Das Super talent” 2012 Christian Bakotessa surprised both the audience and the jury with a spontaneous performance. During the break, Christian is brought on stage and inspires everyone with his unplanned vocal insert. After his successful interpretation of R. Martina Kilic and Christian Bakotessa are a couple and sing together in a gospel choir. Martina wants to take advantage of her chance in “Das Supertalent” 2012 and convince the jury with “Greatest Love Of All” by Whitney Houston. As support her friend Christian Bakotessa came along. When a talent is sought in the audience during the break of the show’s recording, Christian answers and shows off his skills. Dieter Bohlen is immediately enthusiastic and sends the singer backstage. After girlfriend Martina Kilic could not inspire her appearance, it is Christian’s turn.

With “I Believe I Can Fly” by R. Kelly scores Christian Bakotessa all along the line. While the audience and Michelle Hunziker give standing ovations, Dieter Bohlen presses the “Golden Buzzer” and immediately promoted Christian to the semi-finals of “Das Super talent 2012.” You sang almost as well as R. Kelly, “praises the Poptitan, Thomas too Gottschalk is blown away: “You are in the truest sense of the word a natural talent. With you you realize that you do not sing because you want to become famous. You do not sing because you want to be a star. You sing because you can sing and because you want to sing. ”
