ZACH WILLIAMS WEARS MANY HATS FROM HUSBAND AND FATHER TO CHURCH STAFF AND WORSHIP LEADER.
Most recently he can add recording artist to the list. Zach is no novice to the music industry. He had spent a majority of his life traveling with various bands. It was while on the road that the Lord grabbed a hold of him and he decided to leave the rock star life behind.
After that, Zach transitioned in to a position at the Refuge Campus of Central Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Arkansas in which he still serves. It came as a shock when the opportunity to sign with Provident Label Group as a new Christian artist arose. Never in his wildest dreams did Zach Williams think that he would be in this place of writing and recording music in the Christian music industry, especially from years of hard living on the road while in a rock & roll band.
His personal testimony of receiving freedom in the Lord is so beautifully reflected in his debut single āChain Breakerā. The song came from a place of wanting to reach people who had been struggling and it undoubtedly has. Over the course of itās release in the summer of 2016, an influx of stories have been shared on his various social media pages by people who have experienced the life changing power of broken chains.

Chuck Fenda (born Leshorn Whitehead, in Brooklyn) first came to prominence in Jamaica when recording with King Jammy in the late 90s. At the start of the new century he embraced Rastafarianism and aligned with 5th Element records, who released his debut Better Days in 2004.
The harsh-voiced deejayās third album, Fulfilment, is a somewhat mellower affair than 2007ās The Living Fire. But with the 2009 world economy still reeling, the Poor People Defendaās messages of spirituality and social justice are more powerful and pertinent than ever.
The Living Fire contained controversial single Gash Dem an Lite Dem, which despite radio bans (for allegedly inciting vigilantism) was a huge success. His coarse vocals (not dissimilar to Sizzla in pitch) and crude yet effective imagery will be an acquired taste for more refined ears, but this new effort is a solid grower of a record that benefits from a single producerās touch.
This recordās comparative mellowness is mainly the result of the rhythms, supplied almost entirely by producer Kemar McGregor. McGregorās take on the one-drop is considerably slicker and less bass-heavy than fans of bygone eras of roots reggae will be used to. Yet it is this contrast between his catchy, lovingly-created backings and Fendaās brash, pained invective that helps the album succeed.
Chuck opens with mission statement I Am for the Poor on McGregorās new Ghetto rhythm. The sufferersā themes continue with Heights (using the ā83 rhythm) and Survivor (on the Rocksteady) before a switch to horticulture for Herbalist Farmer (over the Drop It).
Shane Brown, who worked on The Living Fire, contributes his synth-string-driven Nylon rhythm for Itās Getting Serious. Other guests include the angelic I Wayne on the ballad Thin Line; the deep voiced Bushman on Tough Time; and basic dancehall veteran Sammy Dread with a recut of his hit M16, renamed Bad Boy.
For the final act Fenda shows his tender side. The setās only love song, Girl You Make Me Cry, is made all the more poignant by his strained delivery. Two prayer pieces, Why Should I and Our Father, conclude a rewarding listen.

Christian just wanted to accompany his girlfriend Martina to the casting for “Das Super talent 2012”. Therefore Christian wanted to accompany his girlfriend as a moral support to the casting. During a short casting break, Christian then goes to the Super talent 2012 stage and sings very sensitively the song “I Believe I Can Fly”. From the audience directly into the semi-finals
In the fourth show of “Das Super talent” 2012 Christian Bakotessa surprised both the audience and the jury with a spontaneous performance. The hobby singer is actually only in the studio to keep his fingers crossed for his girlfriend on her appearance. During the break, Christian is brought on stage and inspires everyone with his unplanned vocal insert. After his successful interpretation of R. Kelly’s hit “I Believe I Can Fly” there are standing ovations from the audience and the “Golden Buzzer” by Dieter Bohlen. Christian Bakotessa makes it directly into the semi-finals of “Das Super talent” 2012.
Martina Kilic and Christian Bakotessa are a couple and sing together in a gospel choir. Martina wants to take advantage of her chance in “Das Supertalent” 2012 and convince the jury with “Greatest Love Of All” by Whitney Houston. As support her friend Christian Bakotessa came along. When a talent is sought in the audience during the break of the show’s recording, Christian answers and shows off his skills. Dieter Bohlen is immediately enthusiastic and sends the singer backstage. After girlfriend Martina Kilic could not inspire her appearance, it is Christian’s turn.
With “I Believe I Can Fly” by R. Kelly scores Christian Bakotessa all along the line. While the audience and Michelle Hunziker give standing ovations, Dieter Bohlen presses the “Golden Buzzer” and immediately promoted Christian to the semi-finals of “Das Super talent 2012.” You sang almost as well as R. Kelly, “praises the Poptitan, Thomas too Gottschalk is blown away: “You are in the truest sense of the word a natural talent. With you you realize that you do not sing because you want to become famous. You do not sing because you want to be a star. You sing because you can sing and because you want to sing. ”

Some people might say that after notching eight No. 1 singles, 11 Grammy Award nominations, a best-selling memoir and ongoing sold-out, coast-to-coast arena tours, Charlie Wilson has proven his pointā¦.and he isnāt planning to slow down anytime soon.
āIāve been in this game for many years,ā reflects the Gap Band co-founder and solo star. āIāve had some big hit records and sold a lot of records. But I need to still show people that Iām in it. Itās championship time.ā
Wilson underscores that declaration with his latest album, In It to Win It (P Music Group/RCA, Feb. 17). The set boasts lead single āIām Blessedā featuring T.I., currently top 10 Billboard and fastest rising top ten single this year on the Urban Adult Contemporary chart.
Coinciding with the new albumās arrival is Wilsonās In It to Win It national arena tour with Fantasia and Johnny Gill kicking off Feb. 8 in Norfolk, VA and will continue throughout the U.S. with 29 dates through the end of March.
āāIām Blessedā says exactly where I am in my life, blessed to still be making music that people want to hear,ā says Wilson. “2016 was a tough year for so many people around the world, so Iām proud to release a song to remind us that we can all find some blessings in our lives. And having T.I. bring his flavor, sharing who he is and how his journey is filled with blessings, is an added bonus.”
Breaking away from the tradition of using his name in the album title, Wilson also recruited an A-Team of guest features for his seventh solo album. Joining T.I. as first-timers in that circle: Pitbull, Wiz Khalifa, Robin Thicke and Lalah Hathaway. Wilson, who executive produced the 13-track album along with long time manager, Michael Paran, reunited once again with The Cartoons (Emile Ghantous, Steve Daly and Keith Hetrick), Gregg Pagani and Wirlie Morris on the creative side. New to the mix this time around: fellow songwriter/producers J.R. Rotem (Jason Derulo, Gwen Stefani, Empire), Eric Hudson (Kanye West, John Legend) and Rob Knox (Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, T.I.).
āIn addition to working with our talented core of producers, one of our goals was to add some new talent to the team,ā stated Paran. āI was excited to bring in J.R. Rotem, Eric Hudson and Rob Knox to the project as they added an adrenaline shot to the recording process and really inspired Charlie to cut all kinds of music. I can truly say Charlie had a lot of fun recording this album and you can hear that reflected in the music.ā
Together, the team crafted a package that fully encompasses Wilsonās unlimited reach. He explores the synergy between pop and R&B with Thicke on the mid-tempo āSmile for Meā (āYou canāt tell our vocals apart sometimes,ā says Wilson). Then he and Pitbull double-down on the party track āGood Time.ā
And who knew rapper Wiz Khalifa possesses an impressive singing voice, which he shows off on the noteworthy āUs Trust.ā Another oh wow moment is the duet between Wilson and Lalah Hathaway on the scintillating āMade for Love.ā Their what-took-so-long pairing calls to mind the magic conjured between Lalahās late father/soul legend Donny Hathaway and Roberta Flack.
āSheās definitely got her own spirit but I could see Donnyās aura as well,ā notes Wilson of working with Lalah. āIt just makes you feel good inside when you hear her sing. She nailed it.ā
Never one to shortchange his fans, Wilson unleashes his powerful tenor on the uplifting title track, the inspirational āAmazing Godā and romance songs āPrecious Loveā and āNew Addiction.ā To round out In It to Win It, Wilson reunites with ānephewā Snoop Dog for the sexy romp āGold Rush.ā
āLove is a powerful word and as men we need to let our women know that we love and respect them,ā stated Wilson. āSo, when guys bring their ladies to my show or have this album playing during a romantic dinner, they know I am speaking for them.ā
Before launching his solo career in 2000, Wilson racked up a string of hits in the late ā70s and ā80s as front man with the Gap Band. The pioneering R&B/funk group charted such frequently sampled classics as āOutstanding,ā āYearning for Your Love,ā āBurn Rubber on Me,ā āYou Dropped a Bomb on Meā and āEarly in the Morning.ā
Wilson signed to Jive (now RCA) in 2004 after landing his first No. 1 Billboard Adult R&B hit in 2000, āWithout You.ā Since then, heās released six solo albums and become a consistent chart presence. His tally of 19 hits boasts seven more Adult R&B No. 1s. Among them: āMy Love Is All I Have,ā āYou Areā and āThere Goes My Baby.ā While garnering 11 Grammy nominations and other industry accolades, including BETās 2013 Lifetime Achievement Award, Wilson has stayed busy on the road, as he is a major concert draw, claiming the crown for top winter tour of 2015 with his Forever Charlie arena, or in the studio.
In the years between the Gap Bandās heyday and his solo success, Wilson survived drug and alcohol addiction, homelessness and prostate cancer. He chronicled his odds-defying life and career in his 2015 best-selling autobiography, I Am Charlie Wilson. Sober now for 22 years, the singer says, āI wouldnāt have believed Iād be where I am right now. Thatās why I shout every night because I thank God for allowing me to be here.ā
āIām looking forward to reaching a new swath of fans on this tour and with the release of my new album,ā pledges Wilson. āAnd, Iām not stopping because I Am In It To Win It.ā
