This California based but Brazilian born singing Goddess started performing on stage at age 5 and has been going ever since then.
She grew up listening to the big pop soul divas icons such as Whitney Houston, Toni Braxton, Celine Dion, Lara Fabian, Aretha Franklin and the new generation singers like Joss Stone, Beyonce, Leona Lewis and Sam Bailey
According to BEEA āI did not chose to be a musician, the music chose me. But even if I could have a chance to chose it, Iād probably do it, over and over again. My connection with singing is almost spiritual, it is my direct contact with God, or the universe, subconscious mind, quantum force, different terms for the same single power. At the moment I am singing, the pieces I am made of become a whole.ā
Overall, her music, words and actions are defined by projecting a message of strength and resilience, to those who are struggling in life with all its dramas, challenges and setbacks. Her evident passionate personality is very well reflected in her music.

Some people might say that after notching eight No. 1 singles, 11 Grammy Award nominations, a best-selling memoir and ongoing sold-out, coast-to-coast arena tours, Charlie Wilson has proven his pointā¦.and he isnāt planning to slow down anytime soon.
āIāve been in this game for many years,ā reflects the Gap Band co-founder and solo star. āIāve had some big hit records and sold a lot of records. But I need to still show people that Iām in it. Itās championship time.ā
Wilson underscores that declaration with his latest album, In It to Win It (P Music Group/RCA, Feb. 17). The set boasts lead single āIām Blessedā featuring T.I., currently top 10 Billboard and fastest rising top ten single this year on the Urban Adult Contemporary chart.
Coinciding with the new albumās arrival is Wilsonās In It to Win It national arena tour with Fantasia and Johnny Gill kicking off Feb. 8 in Norfolk, VA and will continue throughout the U.S. with 29 dates through the end of March.
āāIām Blessedā says exactly where I am in my life, blessed to still be making music that people want to hear,ā says Wilson. “2016 was a tough year for so many people around the world, so Iām proud to release a song to remind us that we can all find some blessings in our lives. And having T.I. bring his flavor, sharing who he is and how his journey is filled with blessings, is an added bonus.”
Breaking away from the tradition of using his name in the album title, Wilson also recruited an A-Team of guest features for his seventh solo album. Joining T.I. as first-timers in that circle: Pitbull, Wiz Khalifa, Robin Thicke and Lalah Hathaway. Wilson, who executive produced the 13-track album along with long time manager, Michael Paran, reunited once again with The Cartoons (Emile Ghantous, Steve Daly and Keith Hetrick), Gregg Pagani and Wirlie Morris on the creative side. New to the mix this time around: fellow songwriter/producers J.R. Rotem (Jason Derulo, Gwen Stefani, Empire), Eric Hudson (Kanye West, John Legend) and Rob Knox (Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, T.I.).
āIn addition to working with our talented core of producers, one of our goals was to add some new talent to the team,ā stated Paran. āI was excited to bring in J.R. Rotem, Eric Hudson and Rob Knox to the project as they added an adrenaline shot to the recording process and really inspired Charlie to cut all kinds of music. I can truly say Charlie had a lot of fun recording this album and you can hear that reflected in the music.ā
Together, the team crafted a package that fully encompasses Wilsonās unlimited reach. He explores the synergy between pop and R&B with Thicke on the mid-tempo āSmile for Meā (āYou canāt tell our vocals apart sometimes,ā says Wilson). Then he and Pitbull double-down on the party track āGood Time.ā
And who knew rapper Wiz Khalifa possesses an impressive singing voice, which he shows off on the noteworthy āUs Trust.ā Another oh wow moment is the duet between Wilson and Lalah Hathaway on the scintillating āMade for Love.ā Their what-took-so-long pairing calls to mind the magic conjured between Lalahās late father/soul legend Donny Hathaway and Roberta Flack.
āSheās definitely got her own spirit but I could see Donnyās aura as well,ā notes Wilson of working with Lalah. āIt just makes you feel good inside when you hear her sing. She nailed it.ā
Never one to shortchange his fans, Wilson unleashes his powerful tenor on the uplifting title track, the inspirational āAmazing Godā and romance songs āPrecious Loveā and āNew Addiction.ā To round out In It to Win It, Wilson reunites with ānephewā Snoop Dog for the sexy romp āGold Rush.ā
āLove is a powerful word and as men we need to let our women know that we love and respect them,ā stated Wilson. āSo, when guys bring their ladies to my show or have this album playing during a romantic dinner, they know I am speaking for them.ā
Before launching his solo career in 2000, Wilson racked up a string of hits in the late ā70s and ā80s as front man with the Gap Band. The pioneering R&B/funk group charted such frequently sampled classics as āOutstanding,ā āYearning for Your Love,ā āBurn Rubber on Me,ā āYou Dropped a Bomb on Meā and āEarly in the Morning.ā
Wilson signed to Jive (now RCA) in 2004 after landing his first No. 1 Billboard Adult R&B hit in 2000, āWithout You.ā Since then, heās released six solo albums and become a consistent chart presence. His tally of 19 hits boasts seven more Adult R&B No. 1s. Among them: āMy Love Is All I Have,ā āYou Areā and āThere Goes My Baby.ā While garnering 11 Grammy nominations and other industry accolades, including BETās 2013 Lifetime Achievement Award, Wilson has stayed busy on the road, as he is a major concert draw, claiming the crown for top winter tour of 2015 with his Forever Charlie arena, or in the studio.
In the years between the Gap Bandās heyday and his solo success, Wilson survived drug and alcohol addiction, homelessness and prostate cancer. He chronicled his odds-defying life and career in his 2015 best-selling autobiography, I Am Charlie Wilson. Sober now for 22 years, the singer says, āI wouldnāt have believed Iād be where I am right now. Thatās why I shout every night because I thank God for allowing me to be here.ā
āIām looking forward to reaching a new swath of fans on this tour and with the release of my new album,ā pledges Wilson. āAnd, Iām not stopping because I Am In It To Win It.ā

He is a mix between Post Malone and Drake because he is definitely talented in singing and trapping.Ā Adam James is 25yrs old and is from Schenectady, NY.Ā Ā He is steadily grinding and we sincerely believe he has what it takes to be up there with stars.
He graced topafricmusicvideo.com with an exclusive interview below but before you read it we encourage you to listen to his wonderful folsetto by clicking on this spotify linkĀ to listen to his latest track entitled “Slow Down” you will be glad you did.
Q: Can You please tell our readers your real name as well as your stage name?
A: Adam James. My last name is pretty lame and itās been the butt of jokes basically forever, so publicly I just go by my first and middle name. I considered Lil Stanky and Funknificent Gigalo as stage names, but I doubt those would stick.
Ā
Q: Where are you from and Where were you based?
A: Iām from Schenectady, NYā¦Currently Iām in Erie, PA, commonly referred to by the locals as āThe Mistake By The Lakeā.Ā I managed to escape the 6 feet of snow on Christmas by a few hours when I drove back home to see family earlier this year, which was pretty lucky. Itās not a bad city by any means, the summers here are actually really nice. Or at least the one Iāve experienced so far was.
Ā
Q: At What age did you start making music?
A: Iāve been writing and recording music since I was about 14. Iām 25 now and I think Iāve made some big strides since then.
Ā
Q: What genre of music do you particularly love? Jazz? Hip-Hop? RnB?Ā
A: Rock, hip hop/r&b, alternative.
Ā
Q: Tell us about your latest track ( what is it all about)
A: In a way itās kind of a āfriends with benefits songāā¦itās about wanting more than just a one night stand and being able to spend time with someone interesting, without necessarily jumping into a serious relationship with a girl.Ā Iām not sure if it sounds shallow, but Iām really focused on my career and my music right now, and Iām still figuring out the next steps in my life and what I want to do going forward, so Iām not looking to settle down in the immediate future.Ā Itās kind of tricky walking that line as far as dating goes, so I guess Iām just venting about that over a smooth hip hop beat for three minutes.
Ā
Q: Who wrote it? And where can the fans get it?
A: I wrote the lyrics, the beat was produced by KLAE Beats, and itās on most major music platforms including Spotify, iTunes, Amazon, Apple Music, Youtube, etc.
Ā
Q: Where do you get your musical inspiration?
A: I think it comes from all over the place, Iāve tried a bunch of different styles of music since I startedā¦my teenage pop punk voice has never really left and Iām starting to drift into more of a singer/songwriter pop and hip-hop sound, I think it creates a unique vibe.
Ā
Q: What inspired you to write this new track
A: Just my experiences in general over the past couple of months. Iām working on a full length release and everything kind of just poured out at once. I want to say I wrote most of the album within a 1-2 week period. I didnāt record it all at once but I was just cranking out songs really quickly for a little while.
Ā
Q: If you were given a chance, which Artist would you love to perform with?
A: Itās hard to pick just one, Iām super focused on getting exposure and Iād be happy to jump on any opportunity with someone successful in the industry. Iāve been digging Post Maloneās music lately so that could be a cool show. But this answer could change within a week, who knows.
