From his very first public performance, the young vocalist G. LaBeaud did not disappoint, wowing his Kindergarten graduation class with a gorgeous rendition of “Goodbye Kindergarten”.

In 1995 Gerald Leverts platinum-selling “Groove On” album featured two singles vocally backed by G and Jim LaBeaud. The album also featured the song “Same Place Same Time” written and composed by G and Jim.
The LaBeaud’s backed single “Answering Service” climbed to #12 on Billboards Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles Chart in 1995.
In early 1995 the LaBeaud brothers were lured back to Los Angeles. Their resulting five-year tenure in Hollywood nurtured enduring relationships with Urban/Pop superstars like Diane Warren, Buster & Shavoni, Sepp (of Tricky & Sepp) Norman Whitfield, and Marc Nelson just to name a few.
As a credit to his pop sensibilities and versatility, G. was selected to sing backup on “Colour Everywhere” by Country Music star Deana Carter for Sony’s
“Touched By An Angel” soundtrack which also went Platinum.
After a short stopover at Dreamworks Records in 1999, G. and Jim signed a music publishing deal with Jackie Jackson (Of The Jackson 5) family company Futurist Venture Publishing.

Exclusive One On One with Adam James

 adam_james

He is a mix between Post Malone and Drake because he is definitely talented in singing and trapping.  Adam James is 25yrs old and is from Schenectady, NY.   He is steadily grinding and we sincerely believe he has what it takes to be up there with stars.

He graced topafricmusicvideo.com with an exclusive interview below but before you read it we encourage you to listen to his wonderful folsetto by clicking on this spotify link  to listen to his latest track entitled “Slow Down” you will be glad you did.

Q: Can You please tell our readers your real name as well as your stage name?

A: Adam James. My last name is pretty lame and it’s been the butt of jokes basically forever, so publicly I just go by my first and middle name. I considered Lil Stanky and Funknificent Gigalo as stage names, but I doubt those would stick.

Q: Where are you from and Where were you based?

A: I’m from Schenectady, NY…Currently I’m in Erie, PA, commonly referred to by the locals as “The Mistake By The Lake”.  I managed to escape the 6 feet of snow on Christmas by a few hours when I drove back home to see family earlier this year, which was pretty lucky. It’s not a bad city by any means, the summers here are actually really nice. Or at least the one I’ve experienced so far was.

Q: At What age did you start making music?

A: I’ve been writing and recording music since I was about 14. I’m 25 now and I think I’ve made some big strides since then.

Q: What genre of music do you particularly love? Jazz? Hip-Hop? RnB?

A: Rock, hip hop/r&b, alternative.

Q: Tell us about your latest track ( what is it all about)

A: In a way it’s kind of a “friends with benefits song”…it’s about wanting more than just a one night stand and being able to spend time with someone interesting, without necessarily jumping into a serious relationship with a girl.  I’m not sure if it sounds shallow, but I’m really focused on my career and my music right now, and I’m still figuring out the next steps in my life and what I want to do going forward, so I’m not looking to settle down in the immediate future.  It’s kind of tricky walking that line as far as dating goes, so I guess I’m just venting about that over a smooth hip hop beat for three minutes.

Q: Who wrote it? And where can the fans get it?

A: I wrote the lyrics, the beat was produced by KLAE Beats, and it’s on most major music platforms including Spotify, iTunes, Amazon, Apple Music, Youtube, etc.

Q: Where do you get your musical inspiration?

A: I think it comes from all over the place, I’ve tried a bunch of different styles of music since I started…my teenage pop punk voice has never really left and I’m starting to drift into more of a singer/songwriter pop and hip-hop sound, I think it creates a unique vibe.

Q: What inspired you to write this new track

A: Just my experiences in general over the past couple of months. I’m working on a full length release and everything kind of just poured out at once. I want to say I wrote most of the album within a 1-2 week period. I didn’t record it all at once but I was just cranking out songs really quickly for a little while.

Q: If you were given a chance, which Artist would you love to perform with?

A: It’s hard to pick just one, I’m super focused on getting exposure and I’d be happy to jump on any opportunity with someone successful in the industry. I’ve been digging Post Malone’s music lately so that could be a cool show. But this answer could change within a week, who knows.

As a songwriter, he received the British Academy’s Ivor Novello Award, for Best Song Musically and Lyrically, in consecutive years for “Killer” (1990) and “Crazy” (1991).

*Personal life

Seal first began dating German model Heidi Klum in February 2004, shortly after she announced her pregnancy and end of relationship with Italian Formula One team manager Flavio Briatore.

Seal proposed to Klum on 23 December 2004 in a quinzee he had built on a glacier in Whistler, British Columbia. On 10 May 2005, the couple married on a beach in Mexico near Seal’s home on Costa Careyes. Every year during their marriage, Seal and Klum renewed their vows on their anniversary with close friends and family. About these renewals, Seal said in 2010, “Each year, Heidi and I get remarried. It’s a great party, but for about an hour, we go off on our own down to a private beach. We sit there with the kids and read vows to each other as the sun sets. It’s a very special moment to us.” In November 2009, Klum officially adopted Seal’s surname and became legally known as Heidi Samuel.

On 11 June 2009, Seal, on tour with his new album Soul, revealed, “It is nice to be in newspapers and magazines for something other than my marriage”. He said his marriage to Klum may take away the attention, but does not detract from what he loves doing: making music. In February 2011, Klum praised Seal for his good parenting skills.

“ When I first met Seal he had a kindness and compassion that was so sincere I knew he’d be a good father…But it wasn’t until Leni was born and we had our three other children that I grasped what a great dad he is…He has infinite amounts of love and patience for our kids…He puts me and the children first.[52] ”
Klum also remarked how lucky she was to have a husband like Seal.

Klum gave birth to Briatore’s daughter, Helene “Leni” Boshoven Klum on 5 May 2004 in New York City with Seal at her side. According to Klum, Briatore is not involved in Leni’s life, and Klum has stated emphatically that “Seal is Leni’s father”.

Seal is her only father figure and he has praised Briatore for keeping his distance and not disrupting Leni’s life.In late 2009 Seal officially adopted Leni, and her last name was changed to Samuel. The couple have three other children: sons Henry Günther Adeola Dashtu Samuel (born 12 September 2005), Johan Riley Fyodor Taiwo Samuel (born 22 November 2006) and daughter Lou Sulola Samuel (born 9 October 2009).[60] On 22 January 2012, Seal and Klum announced that they were separating after nearly seven years of marriage.Klum filed for divorce from Seal on April 6, but they remain close friends.Their divorce was finalized on 14 October 2014.

Seal and his then-wife Heidi Klum announced in June 2010 that they would be making a reality series on Lifetime titled Love’s Divine (after Seal’s song of the same name).

Seal was also a judge for the 10th annual Independent Music Awards to support independent artists careers, also a guest judge for America’s Got Talent season 12.

Rising German R’n’B Star “ACE TEE”

Das New Yorker Paper Magazine schrieb sogar über Ace Tee: „Rising german R’n’B star Ace Tee will make your day.“ Das spricht für sich.
