” GWEN STEFANI “A Three-Time GRAMMY Award Winner & Multi-Platinum Solo Artist

A three-time GRAMMY® Award winner, Gwen Stefani has achieved global success as a performer, songwriter, frontwoman for iconic rock band No Doubt, and multi-platinum solo artist. To date, she’s sold more than 50 million units worldwide, including her four-times-platinum debut solo album Love.Angel.Music.Baby. — a 2004 release delivering the hit singles “Rich Girl,” “What You Waiting For?”, and the Pharrell Williams-produced No. 1 hit “Hollaback Girl.” With her 2006 sophomore album The Sweet Escape featuring the Billboard Hot 100 top-ten smash “Wind It Up,” Stefani most recently released her third solo effort This Is What The Truth Feels Like. Debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, the critically praised album includes her powerful No. 1 single “Used To Love You.”

In addition to her three GRAMMY® Awards, Stefani’s honors include four MTV Video Music Awards, two Billboard Awards, an American Music Award, and a Brit Award. In 2014, she channeled her tremendous musical passion into empowering young singers as their coach on the seventh season of NBC’s musical competition series “The Voice.” Stefani now returns for her fourth season as a coach on “The Voice,” with the 17th season of the four-time Emmy Award-winning show arriving in September 2019.

Known for her wildly charismatic stage presence, Stefani premiered her exclusive Las Vegas headlining residency “Gwen Stefani – Just A Girl” in June 2018 at Zappos Theatre at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. With its setlist comprised of fan favorites and iconic hits, the two-hour show unfolds as an eye-popping spectacular, putting a fresh twist on classic Vegas theatrics. But despite the elaborate stage production — and wardrobe changes showcasing her legendary fashion sense — Stefani offers up an undeniably intimate performance, ultimately forging an unforgettable connection with the crowd.

One of pop culture’s most magnetic style icons, Gwen Stefani has also emerged as the first global celebrity artist to translate music stardom into a series of massively successful lifestyle brands. Maryon’s New Single Titled “Hustler” is Hotter Than Fire!

Maryon’s new single titled “Hustler” is hot, full of sauce, and real. It is a feminist pop-rock anthem about the challenges faced by ambitious female songwriters. It emphasizes their frustration in a male-dominated industry. Maryon possesses a vocal range and strength that are “cynosures of all eyes”.

Her songwriting acumen is equally top-notch which can be noticed in the track as it fiercely re-introduces her after years of writing songs for others and herself. This songwriting experience gathered over the years would prove invaluable in this song as it remains true to her character. She is influenced by pop heavy weights such as Madonna, Lorde and Kate Bush while sharing similar vocal characteristics and uncompromising artistry vision with her influences.

With respect to the cancellations of important dates and other live performances this year, she felt more need to work harder on her own project to compensate for that period. Rather than discouraging her, the circumstances fueled her to come up with “Hustler”.

The events surrounding the writing and the production of “Hustler” equally reflects the “never give up in the face of adversity” theme of the song. This says a lot about her attitude, mental strength, and undying love for making good organic music. The song opens up with finger-snapping at the regular beat intervals and a whistling sound (for 8 seconds) to an acoustic guitar playing in the background while her pitch-perfect vocals cue in afterward as she starts singing. Her voice is deliciously electrifying while the instrumental synths and beats serenade in the background, projecting the sound further without overshadowing or suppressing her soprano vocals. She was also able to execute some risks successfully while adapting her vocals easily in some parts of the song where the key is high.

Overall, this is a great song and can be compared with the likes of Avril Lavigne’s and Vanessa Carlton’s.

“Moment” By “Vavz” Is Definitely A Must Listen

“Moment”, is a new song by the ever quintessential songster, Vavz. In this song, Vavz sings about the subject of “transcience’’ where he describes, every second and every moment in time as precious and valuable and should be taken seriously in contrast to the regular rituals of only taking into accounts, futuristic endeavors and gains or dwelling on past successes or failures rather than living for the moment, because you cannot change what has happened in the past.

This is equally in line with the following saying “the success of your tomorrow is a product or the consequence of the actions you take today’.

Furthermore, in a different twist, Vavz originally wrote the lyrics of the song in German, which he later translated to English but was sung in German. He has a great deal of creativity and ingenuity which is always brought to the fore in his songs. The beats are outstandingly resounding.

His audible baritone vocals are crystal, occasionally transforming at intervals into light crisp falsettos but maintaining a regular key for most parts of the song. The song is highly engaging and endearing. It is a heartfelt song that would stir up the waters of your imaginations. The production quality is equally high. This is a testament to the effective shift put in by members of his crew. Overall, this is a decent job and Vavz should get lots of credits for his creativity.

Topafricmusicvideo.com got a chance to do an exclusive one on one interview with the upcoming star and here is what he had to say

Q: Can you please tell our readers your real name as well as your stage name?

My real name is Sami Ghadoum and my stage name is Vavz.

Q:Tell us more about your stage name and the storry behind it

Vavz is pronounced like waves and refers to the motivation to act from the feeling. From my point of view waves embody on the one hand calmness and on the other hand the motivation to change.

Q: Where are you from and Where were you based?

I come from near frankfurt am main in Germany and I was born in Germany. My roots are 50% in Tunisia and 50% in Germany.

Q: At What age did you start making music?

I started playing the guitar when I was about 10 years old. After one year of guitar lessons I broke it off and continued teaching myself the guitar. About two years ago I started to play the piano and 12 months ago I decided to build a studio and publish my music.

Q: What genre of music do you love? Or what genre would you consider yourself?

I like a lot of genres, I listen privately to everything from hip-hop, to pop, indie pop, rock and rnb. I would classify my song in the category pop or indie pop.

Q: Tell us about your latest track or Video ( what is it all about)–Please explain the concept or message behind it

My latest song “Moment” deals with the topic of transience. (“Carpe diem”) Based on several nature scenes, I present the decay and development there and try to convey that every moment should be considered valuable for itself. In today’s society we are designed to always look into the future and to prepare for the next years (e.g. studying at school to get an education, to work, to retire…) and we forget that every second we experience during this time is valuable for itself and that it is not only about the goals that should be pursued. The same is true for looking into the past, because we tend to hold on to good and bad events and drag them into our present. A turning point in my life has driven me to write this song and my whole heart is in this project.

Q: Who wrote the lyrics? who made the beatz? Who made the video?(if any) and finally who produced the song?

I wrote the lyrics, smade the cover/video and mixed/mastered

Q: Where do you get your inspiration?

I wrote the lyrics, sang the song, did the cover/video and mixed and mastered the song. The incredible beat was done by Marzen G.

Q: If you were given a chance, which Artist would you love to perform with?

Definitv on first line with the artist XOV.

Q: Where can fans find you? Please List all your social media links (Youtube/ Facebook/ Instagram/ Soundcloud/ Spotify/ Twitter)

“OLIVER STAY ” The Cleveland Based Alt-Pop Performer

“I’m a letdown!”

An exclamation from solo singer-songwriter Oliver Stay. This Cleveland-based Alt-Pop performer doesn’t say this to describe his music, but to describe his relatable message. Going against the grain of the modern “sell yourself at all costs” mentality typically found in this medium, Oliver strives to connect with you; and wants you to stay.

In 2017 he found his first success when several of his songs were used in parody movie trailers on a popular youtube channel. Leading to his first interview on a local radio station where he announced his debut EP Castle in the Sky. Only a year after that he released his first full-length album If I’m Being Honest.

Now in 2020, he’s shifted his focus to releasing singles. Of the four songs he’s released so far, “Bones” is the most recent single and has easily broken the mold of all expectations. Inspired directly from the song Wow, I Can Get Sexual Too by Say Anything mixed with vibes from artists like MGMT, The 1975, and The Killers. Bones is catchy vibe about when casual hookups turn more serious for one person out of the two. “My heart still beats / But I don’t know / Where it fits inside your bones.” The music video conveys an energetic lover desperately trying to get the attention of a robotic-like man.

Oliver Stay started learning and playing guitar at 15, specifically because his family fell on hard times financially and couldn’t afford cable / internet anymore. He spent most of his time learning classic acoustic bands like Goo Goo Dolls, Matchbox 20, and Third Eye Blind. These influences shaped his earliest songs like “End of You and Me,” “Rewind,” and “It Never Ends” featured on his debut EP Castle in the Sky in 2017. Oliver Stay took what was originally meant to be a hobby a large step forward with his next project If I’m Being Honest. He learned piano and production so that he could be much more in control during the recording process of his music. Now armed with more knowledge, he built his masterpiece from the ground up; creating his genre-bending style and finding his voice as a musician.

“GABRIELE SARO” The Multi Award Winning SongWriter Composer Music Teacher and NBO Member (NLP)

Gabriele Saro was born in Spilimbergo (Pordenone, Italy) and he lives in Villalta di Fagagna (UD). From an early age he showed a great predisposition towards music, when at the age of 6 he reproduced on the piano the melodies he heard on television.

He has been always motivated by two different attitudes: on one hand scientific rational, on the other hand artistic and creative. He has a scientific A levels and a Bachelor Degree in Business Economy, a Diploma in Violin and a Master of Music in Film Composition: different paths, but Gabriele knows how to mix them perfectly. That’s why he accomplished a Master in Neuro-linguistic Programming in 2012 and a collaboration with NLP’s international trainer Marco Valerio Ricci for the realization of sound material for therapies: music and rationality, research and harmony.

These are just a few interest of Gabriele, the ones which influence his artistic career: anthropology, biology and science fiction… but the most important activity is beyond doubt music and composition.

He cooperates as a violinist in classic and light music, he sings in various choirs of Friuli Venezia Giulia and he also went on several tournée abroad with them, the last one in Canada.

But not just the violin: infact, Gabriele can play also the piano and the organ, he listens to music of all kind, especially soundtracks. He deeply believes that a man never stops learning: he combines the experience gained over years (concerts and choral direction seminary, summer camps and wind orchestra contests) with passion for composition. He attended Masterclass in Film Scoring and Production Music with M° Hans Zimmer, DJ Armin Van Buuren, M° T.C. JonesM° P. Buonvino M° R. Frattini, M° G. Plenizio, M° R. Calabretto M° S. Rapezzi and M° G. De Mezzo and in composition, arrangement and direction with M° Conrade Pope, M° R. Stroope, M° V. Miskinis, M° V. Sivilotti, M° R. Miani, M° L. Donati, M° A. Cadario, M° V. He is active member on Masterclasses in Film Making with the Directors Ron Howard, Werner Herzog, Martin Scorsese and Spike Lee.

Art and science, holy and profane: Gabriele’s dual soul reveals itself also in the variety of his compositions published. Rising sacred music composer thanks to many masses and pieces for “a cappella” or with instrumentals, boasts many flattering appreciations also for his profane compositions, mainly for symphonic and wind orchestra.

The enthusiasm and the passion for his job and for his life got him in touch with lots of persons, creating new collaborations. He recorded CDs “Sunsets”“Sunsets 2” “Passion” and “SensationS” (on AMAZON, BigCartel, Macrolibrarsi, Il Giardino dei Libri, and on digital download worldwide). These tracks for piano, violin and cello, awarded at Global Music Awards, can be considered as first works that bring Gabriele closer to the world of incidental music: those are the most appreciated works according to the public in Concert Halls and radio broadcasting, in USA, Canada and Japan in particular, making Gabriele extremely proud.

He has plenty of collaborations: he works and share his notes also with lots of artists also for Pop, R&B, Club, Rock and Electronic Music. One recent achievement for Gabriele is the agreements that he signed with prestigious American Licensing Companies and Publishers, like  Simply Grand Music Inc., Music Of The Sea Inc., Audiosparx and Songtradr for the commercial licensing of these tracks (Top 100 Artists, Omnicom Group NYC, major films, indie films, networks and cable tv, advertising, in store play, phone apps, video games); his music, distributed also with the Alias Gabe Saro, has been pitched by Companies like FOX, BBDO,  L’Oreal, Fed Ex, American Media Inc., Clockwise Media Ltd.

He won several National and International Prizes, in Songwriting like USA Songwriting Competion and UK Songwriting Contest, and in Choral, Orchestral and Film Music Competitions; gorgeous moments for the Contemporary R&B songs proposed and heard by superstars like Usher, Chris Brown and Rihanna.

A life for music, and music for Life: this is the real biography of Gabriele.
