Born two minutes apart twenty-three years ago, LorĂšne & Marine grew up in âBourgoin-Jallieu (âmapâ)â, a small town in France. Surrounded by music since their very young age, and despite two very different personalities, the twin sisters always shared the same passion for singing and writing; music creation providing with both a way to face their demons and a strong grip onto their dreams. When they turned 21, it was time for LorĂšne & Marine to fly away from the family nest and move to Los Angeles, reaching out to fulfil their dream of starting a new life with music at its core. LorĂšne & Marine enlisted at UCLA Extension to study Music Production and Music Business, graduating in June 2018 (âpictureâ). Soon after, the twins started releasing their first songs under the duo name âL Y Sâ*. From their first music video LIPSTICK to performing on local trendy scenes such as The Mint and NoHoâs Republic of Pie, LorĂšne & Marine are making their mark with their pop, sweet, dynamic songs contrasted with âsororalâ mystery.

He is from Philly, he started making music at the tender age of 15, he gets his inspiration from producers like Diddy, Dr Dre, and Quincy Jones. He is definitely on the right track and you cant afford to sleep on Chrys No I (pronounced Chris No eye).
He just released a new hit and when you listen to the lyrics of âwithout meâ, you cant help but to think that the Artist, Chrys No I(pronounced no eye), is actually talking to a past lover or friend who has forgotten how he helped them get up in life.
When you watch the video, you see him singing with so much emotion that we fail to see the acting in the video. Most videos are acted out and have different scenes with different people but the entire video was focused on him and you can tell that he was taking this really personal.
But on the other hand, he is an artist so he could have also been acting. Either way, two thumbs up to Chrys for this wonderful video and music. check out the video below
For those of you who donât know Chrys No I (pronounced Chris no eye), he is an American record producer, songwriter, and entrepreneur from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In October 2016, he founded May One Six, which is a recording and entertainment company. On November 26, 2018, Chrys released a hit single entitled âDream Ofâ (read more here) which he self-produced and performed.
And now he is back again with another hit entitled âwithout meâ. You can find his music by clicking on this link and you can connect with Chrys by clicking on the social media links below.
If you are a fan of Jazz then you are going to love the Jazz Album entitled “Discovery” by Marton Juhasz. This will remind you of “Mo betta blues” sound track. He definitely is bringing what you would call “authentic Jazz” back. The horns, the bass, the grand style piano and beautiful voices all combined to synchronization is simply unbelieveable in this day and age. Marton out did himself with this album. You simply cannot get enough of this Jazz. Eat your heart out Louie Armstrong cos Marton definitely brought the Jazz soul back to life.
Marton Juhaszâs career began in 2005 when he won national first prize for solo percussion in Hungary. In 2006 he studied at Drumtech, London where he was awarded prize for top overall student. In 2007 he was accepted to Berklee College of Music, Boston and graduated summa cum laude in 2011. In 2010 he was the recipient of the Foundation for Hungarian Percussion Cultureâs yearly award.
He explained to us what each track was basically talking about or what they represented. check it out below
He tells us why he entitled the Album “Discovery”. He chose this title not so much because it reflected the music but because of it’s a reflection on the process of finding some kind of personal compositional voice and being comfortable with exposing it to the world.
“Sea of Uncertainty” represents the chaotic and self doubting uncertainty that is inherent to the creative process and life of a freelance artist in general.
The Curve – This was inspired by the idea that there are a number of exponential processes that are underway globally (climate change, debt, overpopulation, habitat loss, environmental destruction etc.) and we are about to hit the steep slope – curve – of these graphs. Also, I like the idea that if you ascend high enough from the Earth you begin to see the planet’s curve.
Little Prayer – This one is an attempt to acknowledge the mystical even during the mundane and frustrating times like waiting in a traffic jam.
Levian – was inspired by a dream I had where I was underwater and in contact with a very alien looking and seemingly fully conscious whalefish.
Industry – is a juxtaposition of a native way of living. (Choir)Industrial-economic processes (bass lines) that eventually poison the habitat.
Stino – I wrote this one for a friend – a fantastic jazz guitarist who one day decided to make contemporary hip hop albums instead.
Wolves Gather Around a Winter Moon – subtitle for this song is “Angels Pass By”. I wanted to write something to contrast a dark, primal, animalistic scene with a flyby of a group of angels – effortlessly dividing and shining over the darkness.
Strange Glow – This is trying to capture the eerie feeling of going home on empty streets late at night on a late Autumn evening. I’m always struck by how ominous everything looks under street lightning.
Run – subtitle is “away” – This song is about running away from harm – no destination, just run until you collapse from exhaustion and then lay there on the ground because you just can’t move anymore.
Q: Can you please tell our readers your real name as well as your stage name? A: My name is Jasmina Frank, while my two partners in crime are Marko Gacina and Slaven Bolanca. Together we are “Jas Frank & the Intoits”
Q: Where are you from and Where were you based? A: We are from Croatia, Europe. I am originally from Rijeka and the guys are from Zagreb and Primosten, respectively. But, we all met and are based in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia.
Q: At What age did you start making music? A: I think I wrote my first song when I was 4 or 5 and it still serves as an entertainment piece at family gatherings, because it is ridiculous, of course. I wrote my first serious song when I was 13 and attending the local music school.
Q: What genre of music do you love? Or what genre would you consider yourself? A: The three of us have a very different taste in music, but what we have in common is that we all live and breath music. I am mostly into alternative and indie rock. However, I generally tend to like anything with a great melody and vocal harmonies, as that is what I enjoy the most. Marko is an accomplished reggae musician and plays in the popular Croatian reggae band “Brain Holidays”, while Slaven is a “klapa” musician, “klapa” being a form of traditional a cappella singing in Dalmatia, Croatia, sometimes accompanied by classical guitar and mandolin. Now, the songs on our album are a different story. It is really hard for me to place them in any given genre. If I had to pick one, I would say indie pop, even though some songs cross into alternative or even avant-garde.
Q: Tell us about your latest track or Video ( what is it all about)Please explain the concept or message behind it: A: To support our debut album “The Girl from Cherry Valley”, which recently came out, a couple of days ago we published a music video for our song “All the Highs All the Lows” on YouTube. Lyrically, the motive of the song is acceptance of yourself and of the world around you – accepting that we are both crucial and unimportant at the same time, and that sometimes we have to go through the mud to be able to find a sense of calm and meaning. Basically, the message behind the song is that you should never give up no matter how hard you have it and that we should keep showing up in each others lives when it matters. The video tries to reflect that message. Of course, it is for the viewers to judge whether it succeeds or not.
Q: Who wrote it? A: I wrote “All the Highs All the Lows”, as well as the other songs on the album, with my friend Dino Pitoski pitching in as a co-songwriter on two of them. Marko and Slaven did a great job in producing and arranging the songs.
Q: What inspired you to write this new track A: I wanted to write an optimistic song or an “everything will be ok” song. It was a challenge for me, because I do have a tendency to drift into darkness when I’m writing songs.
Q: Where do you get your musical inspiration? A: I don’t really write many songs because I don’t force it. I guess I usually write when I need an outlet or when I really need to process something that happened to me or to someone close to me. It is usually a very intuitive process. It is like the song is buried somewhere deep inside and it suddenly comes to the surface when something touches me emotionally, whether it concerns me or others.
Q: If you were given a chance, which Artist would you love to perform with? A: There are so many great artists, so it is really hard to narrow it down. It is even harder because many of the artists that left the greatest impression on me are unfortunately gone, and a lot of them before their time. But I’ll say PJ Harvey and Thom Yorke, even though it seems almost blasphemous to say it.
Q: Where can fans find you? List all your social media links I am personally mostly on Twitter and I tweet about music in general quite a lot. My Twitter account is @jasmfrank. The Intoits’ website is www.theintoits.com and the social media accounts and streaming platform accounts are as follows:
