Ex IUIC Member “J The Producer” Drops New Track

“They got you thinking that you woke up but you still dead in your sin” is part of the lyrics from this new track from “J The Producer” entitled “Them Boyz Lying”.

J The Producer was an ex member of the Black Israelite camp called Israel United in Christ (IUIC) and in this song he simply comes out to tell his part of the story concerning the message that IUIC is preaching to people.

Just take a listen to the lyrics of the track and you will hear what he has to say.

Topafric Music Video got a chance to do a one on one with this talented artist and here is what he had to say below.

Q: Can you please tell our readers your real name as well as your stage name?
A: My real name is Gerren Shider, but I go by J The Producer.

Q: Where are you from and Where were you based?
A: I’m from the United States of America in the state of Texas.

Q: At What age did you start making music?
A: I started making music at the tender age of 8 years old.

Q: What genre of music do you love? Or what genre would you consider yourself? (e.g- Rock? Blues? Hip-Hop? RnB?)
A: Im mainly a R&B guy but I love all genres and draw inspiration from many places and merge it with my R&B vocal style.

Q: Tell us about your latest track or Video ( what is it all about)
A: Well I am a ex member of the Black Hebrew Israelite school known as Israel United In Christ, which is a part of the bigger Black Hebrew Israelite Movement that is prevalent in the United States as well as gaining much ground across seas.

The Them Boyz Lyin’ Music Video that was recently released is part of a bigger project known as the “Black Hebrew Israelite Project Documentary” that was Produced by me and some other Christian brothers to warn people about the dangers of the Black Hebrew Israelite movement doctrines that have destroyed many families and lives.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZrsW3ujnbvk&t=725s

The Message behind the song is to not only warn people of some of the doctrinal dangers of the movement itself, but also draw out the truth of the bible to direct the listener to who the bible is really about which is Jesus (or Yeshua) of Nazareth, God manifested in the Flesh, who is The Savior of both Jews and Gentiles for there is no distinction.

ALL those that believe on him will not be ashamed. I do even in more depth explaining things that we speak about in the music video on youtube via my Christian apologetics page under the name “Brotha J”.

Q: Who wrote it?
A:. I produced the song and wrote the hook, bridge, and 3rd verse. I recruited to fellow Christian rappers Darnell Parks (1st Verse) and Kris “KDUB” Williams (2nd verse), who then wrote their verses based off of the things I wanted them to bring out.

Q: What inspired you to write this new track?
A: My experience in the blackHebrew Israelite movement, the countless conversations I have been having with those that feel stuck in the movement and those that have come out and experienced even worser things than I did inspired me to write this song and produce a music video and documentary around it.

Q: Where do you get your musical inspiration?
A: I draw inspiration from many musicians and different artists with unique styles and writing styles like The Temptations, The Whispers, Rodney Jerkins, Warryn Campbell, Ryan Leslie, Teddy Riley, R Kelly, and my own experiences just to name a few.

Q: If you were given a chance, which Artist would you love to perform with?
A: Thats a very good question. I don’t know. lol

Exclusive One On One with Adam James

 adam_james

He is a mix between Post Malone and Drake because he is definitely talented in singing and trapping.  Adam James is 25yrs old and is from Schenectady, NY.   He is steadily grinding and we sincerely believe he has what it takes to be up there with stars.

He graced topafricmusicvideo.com with an exclusive interview below but before you read it we encourage you to listen to his wonderful folsetto by clicking on this spotify link  to listen to his latest track entitled “Slow Down” you will be glad you did.

Q: Can You please tell our readers your real name as well as your stage name?

A: Adam James. My last name is pretty lame and it’s been the butt of jokes basically forever, so publicly I just go by my first and middle name. I considered Lil Stanky and Funknificent Gigalo as stage names, but I doubt those would stick.

Q: Where are you from and Where were you based?

A: I’m from Schenectady, NY…Currently I’m in Erie, PA, commonly referred to by the locals as “The Mistake By The Lake”.  I managed to escape the 6 feet of snow on Christmas by a few hours when I drove back home to see family earlier this year, which was pretty lucky. It’s not a bad city by any means, the summers here are actually really nice. Or at least the one I’ve experienced so far was.

Q: At What age did you start making music?

A: I’ve been writing and recording music since I was about 14. I’m 25 now and I think I’ve made some big strides since then.

Q: What genre of music do you particularly love? Jazz? Hip-Hop? RnB?

A: Rock, hip hop/r&b, alternative.

Q: Tell us about your latest track ( what is it all about)

A: In a way it’s kind of a “friends with benefits song”…it’s about wanting more than just a one night stand and being able to spend time with someone interesting, without necessarily jumping into a serious relationship with a girl.  I’m not sure if it sounds shallow, but I’m really focused on my career and my music right now, and I’m still figuring out the next steps in my life and what I want to do going forward, so I’m not looking to settle down in the immediate future.  It’s kind of tricky walking that line as far as dating goes, so I guess I’m just venting about that over a smooth hip hop beat for three minutes.

Q: Who wrote it? And where can the fans get it?

A: I wrote the lyrics, the beat was produced by KLAE Beats, and it’s on most major music platforms including Spotify, iTunes, Amazon, Apple Music, Youtube, etc.

Q: Where do you get your musical inspiration?

A: I think it comes from all over the place, I’ve tried a bunch of different styles of music since I started…my teenage pop punk voice has never really left and I’m starting to drift into more of a singer/songwriter pop and hip-hop sound, I think it creates a unique vibe.

Q: What inspired you to write this new track

A: Just my experiences in general over the past couple of months. I’m working on a full length release and everything kind of just poured out at once. I want to say I wrote most of the album within a 1-2 week period. I didn’t record it all at once but I was just cranking out songs really quickly for a little while.

Q: If you were given a chance, which Artist would you love to perform with?

A: It’s hard to pick just one, I’m super focused on getting exposure and I’d be happy to jump on any opportunity with someone successful in the industry. I’ve been digging Post Malone’s music lately so that could be a cool show. But this answer could change within a week, who knows.
